Sentinium Design is a boutique interior design studio specializing in high-end hospitality interiors, with select residential projects. We combine creativity with precision, delivering exceptional design experiences for our clients. . We are looking for a detail-oriented Architectural CAD Drafter to join our growing team and help produce high-quality construction drawing sets.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise AutoCAD construction drawing sets.
- Produce architectural and interior construction drawings, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
- Accurately incorporate hand markups, redlines, and verbal direction.
- Maintain CAD standards, layer organization, dimensions, annotations, and sheet layouts.
- Assist with rendered presentation floor plans when needed.
- Organize and maintain project files and drawing documentation.
- Coordinate with the Principal Designer and design team to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional AutoCAD drafting experience.
- Previous experience producing construction documents for U.S.-based architectural or interior design projects is required.
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting, construction detailing, wall assemblies, dimensioning conventions, and documentation standards.
- Proficient working in Imperial units (feet and inches).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Revit experience is a strong plus, but not required.
- Ability to accurately interpret hand markups and redlines.
- Experience creating rendered presentation floor plans is a plus.
- Hospitality or commercial interior project experience is a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced written English is required.
- Reliable internet connection and availability to overlap with Pacific Time business hours.
- Must have access to your own computer capable of running AutoCAD efficiently.
- Must have a licensed version of AutoCAD and any software required to perform the responsibilities of the role.
