This is what you will do in this Role:
- Lead on-site commissioning execution, coordinating Project Engineering teams across the project during the commissioning phase.
- Develop and maintain the commissioning plan, priorities, schedule, and execution strategy aligned with project milestones.
- Ensure clear ownership, priorities, and alignment across commissioning disciplines.
- Monitor commissioning progress, identify risks and roadblocks, and drive timely resolution or escalation to protect project objectives.
- Ensure commissioning readiness, quality, and system performance through effective coordination, testing, and handover between project phases.
- Provide accurate project reporting, including progress, resource needs, schedule impacts, and budget-related inputs.
- Serve as the primary on-site engineering point of contact, coordinating with Project Management, Engineering, Operations, customers, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and feedback to the on-site commissioning team while reinforcing safety, technical standards, and execution expectations.
What We Are Looking For:
- BS/BA in electrical or mechanical engineering or advanced degree.
- 4-6 years of successful experience in related field.
- Demonstrates experience leading a Customer Project or a segment of a large customer project
- Strong Written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated to be self-driven with a high degree of autonomy and agency in decision making, meaning they can translate an objective into a plan divided in key tasks, with minimum guidance.
- Experience in leading or participating in system testing preferred.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's business practices and issues.
- Proficient in either Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.
- Knowledgeable on AC drives and industrial networks
- Willingness and flexibility on travel based on project demand. May need to stay on-site longer than regular rotations during commissioning peak
