Who will you be working with?
Wabtec is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services. Our team is focused on continually improving our best-in-class production capabilities. Here you’ll interact daily with team members during the problem resolution process and will partner with other key stakeholders to support our internal customers and their responsibilities.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of the finance team the intern will first, ensure the update of recurrent reports such as but no limited to weekly financials tracker, SCRAP receipts, payroll and headcount analysis, and others; with a deep understanding of the information contained in mentioned reports; second will be appointed as first financial approver for site requisitions serving as key connection between operations and finance teams.
What do we want to know about you?
· Active student in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
· Intermediate Excel Skills.
· Advanced English Level.
· Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
· Preferred skills on Data Analysis Software
What will your typical day look like?
· Ensure the correct update of recurrent financial reports
· Control and fulfillment of SCRAP receipts report
· Timely approve requisitions submitted by site
· Closing activities such as but not limited to journal entries input, account clearings, and SCRAP invoice creation
· Participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.
