Your Path to a High-Impact Healthcare Career As an Application Support Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting patient access operations by ensuring Epic scheduling and enrollment applications function accurately and efficiently. Your work will directly support patient experience, front-end revenue cycle processes, and operational performance for healthcare organizations. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in patient scheduling, registration, or enrollment who are interested in transitioning into healthcare technology and application support.
What You’ll Do
Application & End-User Support
- Provide high-quality support to end users and stakeholders utilizing Epic scheduling
and enrollment applications.
- Troubleshoot application issues and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Meet or exceed service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure all tickets and documentation comply with company standards.
Design, build, test, and maintain Epic scheduling and enrollment functionality
- Minimize errors through thorough validation and testing
- Support system updates to maintain performance and reliability
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems
Train end users on Epic scheduling and enrollment workflows
- Provide guidance to improve system adoption and accuracy
- Assist with user documentation and knowledge-sharing materials
- Analyze patient access workflows to identify inefficiencies
- Recommend and implement process improvements
- Support reporting and data analysis to inform operational decisions
- Partner with IT teams, analysts, and operational stakeholders
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhere to established processes and resolution standards
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2–5 years of experience in scheduling, registration, or enrollment roles
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn healthcare systems quickly
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Analytical problem-solver with attention to detail
- Organized and dependable, with strong time management skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Process-driven and committed to quality and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), especially Epic
- Experience in healthcare operations or technology environments
- Customer service or application support experience
