Position: Patient Concierge (Bilingual)
Mode: On-site, full-time.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Saturday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Training Period: 3 months
Practice Capacity: 40 surgeries per month.
Salary: $20,000 MXN (before taxes). This can be paid in US currency at the current US exchange rate. There is an annual salary increase based on performance.
As a Patient Concierge, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our patients' surgical experience and contributing to our practice's growth. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that each patient has everything set up for surgery before their arrival and to provide continuous assistance during their stay in Tijuana. We are seeking an individual who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and driven to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Requirements & Skills:
- Demonstrated experience of 3-5 years in a patient advocacy or customer service role.
- Excellent organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills to share updates with patients and other medical staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate compassionately, empathetically, and effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards is paramount in this role.
- Computer knowledge, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Windows, and IOS.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate seamless communication between patients and the medical team, ensuring timely scheduling of appointments and follow-ups.
- Assist the medical team with hospital discharges and post-op consultations.
- Assist with in-person consultations (pre-sale).
- Notify patients of any changes in their appointment schedules, ensuring they are well-informed and supported throughout the process.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop education materials and resources, fostering a supportive and informative environment.
- Check in on patients regularly and evaluate and document their trip experience.
- Identify potential areas for improvement in patient care and service delivery, providing valuable feedback to the management team.
