We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Functional Tester to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be the guardian of software quality, ensuring that every feature we release is robust, performant, and delightful to use. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts throughout the entire development lifecycle, from the initial requirement gathering stage to post-deployment verification. Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and technical designs to create comprehensive, structured test plans and detailed test cases

Perform thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing, of web and mobile applications

Clearly document, prioritize, and track software defects

Work closely with software developers to reproduce bugs, analyze root causes, and verify fixes

Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives to advocate for quality-first design and ensure acceptance criteria are testable

Assist business stakeholders with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Conduct smoke testing on production environments during release cycles
Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of applicable professional experience

Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester within an Agile software development team

Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including black-box, white-box, regression, and boundary testing

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think like an end-user to uncover hidden bugs

Clear, concise communication skills, especially when documenting bug reports and step-by-step reproduction instructions

Experience with bug tracking and test management systems, such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or Confluence

Strong written and spoken proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher
