We are recruiting a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI & AWS) for one of our client partners building modern, AI-powered web applications on AWS.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI & AWS) to design and build modern web applications, customer portals, dashboards, and reporting platforms powered by AWS serverless technologies and AI services.
This role combines front-end development, serverless cloud engineering, and AI integration. You will develop scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications while integrating AI capabilities, real-time data, and business workflows into production systems.
You will work across the full stack — from responsive React interfaces to AWS serverless back-end services and AI-powered features using Amazon Bedrock and Agent Core.
This is a hands-on senior engineering role for someone who enjoys building products end-to-end and delivering high-quality solutions with measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Stack Application Development
Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications, portals, and dashboards
Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces using React and TypeScript
Develop scalable back-end services using Node.js and AWS serverless technologies
Create reusable components, APIs, and application services
AI & Data Integration
Integrate AI-powered capabilities using Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore
Develop interfaces that leverage AI-generated insights, recommendations, and automation
Build solutions using vector-based search and retrieval systems
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI-enhanced user experience opportunities
AWS Serverless Engineering
Design and implement serverless architectures using AWS services
Develop and maintain APIs, authentication systems, and data storage layers
Implement infrastructure as code using AWS CDK
Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient
Dashboards & Reporting
Build operational dashboards and reporting interfaces
Create visualizations and data-driven user experiences
Design systems for monitoring business metrics and application performance
Work with product and business teams to translate requirements into actionable insights
Quality & Performance
Write maintainable, well-tested, and documented code
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across the full stack
Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
AWS Technologies
Application & Serverless Services: AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon Cognito
AI & Machine Learning: Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, Amazon S3 Vectors
Infrastructure & Monitoring: AWS CDK, Amazon CloudWatch
Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering
Strong experience developing modern web applications using React and TypeScript
Extensive experience with Node.js back-end development
Hands-on experience building and deploying AWS serverless applications
Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and third-party integrations
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CDK
Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and web application security
Experience building dashboards, reporting tools, or data visualization interfaces
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Required Certification
AWS Certified Developer – Associate
Preferred Certification
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
Preferred Experience
Experience integrating AI services such as Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or similar platforms
Experience building AI-powered user experiences and workflows
Familiarity with vector databases, semantic search, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures
Experience working in SaaS environments
Experience with event-driven architectures and serverless best practices
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows
