About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) to support a growing mortgage team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment and is confident handling client communication, loan applications, and pipeline management.
As an independent contractor, you will play a key role in guiding clients through the mortgage process while supporting the Loan Officer in closing deals efficiently.
Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound client calls (leads + existing borrowers)
- Take loan inquiries over the phone accurately and efficiently
- Clearly explain documentation, and next steps to clients
- Maintain consistent follow-up via calls, SMS, and email
- Support the Loan Officer with pipeline management and task tracking
- Provide outstanding customer service throughout the entire process
- Work with title companies and assist with bank underwriting (UW) processes
- Manage multiple files and tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Generate and manage sales opportunities through proactive calling

- Experience with calls, title processes, and bank underwriting (preferred)
- Comfortable making sales calls and closing deals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lending, banking, or sales
- Bilingual
- Familiarity with CRM systems and loan processing software
