We are seeking a highly experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to architect, build, and lead the operation of a high-performance Perforce ecosystem and build infrastructure on AWS for a global game development team (together with the client team).
The role focuses on providing technical leadership and strategic direction to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure, enabling efficient collaboration across distributed teams and vendors. You will own the enterprise-grade Perforce architecture, secure cloud networking, and large-scale build and integration workflows, while mentoring engineers and driving best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities

Define the technical vision and roadmap for a scalable, enterprise-grade Perforce architecture for distributed teams, together with the client team

Architect and oversee secure AWS infrastructure, including networking and access layers

Lead the integration strategy between Perforce, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines

Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of development infrastructure, setting SLAs and operational standards

Define and enforce security controls across cloud and tooling environments

Establish organization-wide monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks

Proactively identify, prioritize, and drive resolution of infrastructure and build-related bottlenecks

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and engineering excellence

Act as the primary technical point of contact for global teams and vendors, ensuring stable and consistent development workflows

Collaborate with client stakeholders and engineering leadership to align infrastructure strategy with business goals
Requirements

5+ years of proven experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Systems Administration in gaming
-
At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience

Deep expertise in Perforce administration in distributed environments, including replication, scaling, performance tuning, and large-scale deployments

Advanced hands-on expertise with AWS infrastructure and networking, covering VPCs, subnets, and routing

Strong proficiency in VPNs and secure connectivity, along with firewalls, WAF, and DDoS protection

Proven track record of designing and owning high-performance build and source control infrastructure at scale

Strong understanding of secure cloud architecture and access control, including IAM, encryption, and secrets management

Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices

Expertise in observability practices such as monitoring, logging, and alerting

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the capability to manage and evolve complex infrastructure environments

Demonstrated experience leading initiatives and supporting large-scale, distributed engineering teams

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills

Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
