Your Role

Capgemini is seeking a Mid-Level SAP Basis Consultant with 5-7 years of experience in SAP system administration and technical support. This role is responsible for maintaining the stability, availability, performance, and security of SAP landscapes while supporting operational activities, system upgrades, migrations, and SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) environments. The consultant is expected to work independently on standard Basis activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable SAP operations.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support SAP environments including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Fiori, and NetWeaver.
Execute SAP Basis operational activities such as system monitoring, troubleshooting, performance analysis, client administration, transport management, and printer administration.
Perform kernel upgrades, support package implementations, system copies, refreshes, and migration activities.
Monitor and maintain SAP SLT replication scenarios, ensuring data consistency and optimal performance.
Support incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with service delivery standards.
Assist in High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and business continuity initiatives.
Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to resolve technical issues and support project implementations.
Participate in system audits, compliance reviews, and security remediation activities.
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-sharing materials.

Your Profile

5-7 years of SAP Basis administration experience supporting enterprise SAP landscapes.
Strong understanding of SAP NetWeaver architecture, SAP system administration, and Basis best practices.Hands-on experience with SAP SLT configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and replication support.
Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
Exposure to upgrades, migrations, Unicode conversions, and system copy/refresh projects.Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, SAP Web Dispatcher, and SAProuter.
Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.

This role is responsible for workshop facilitation, integration testing and user acceptance testing. Individual is seen as active member within technology communities.
