Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Approve QA supply component documents within 24 hours of receipt.
- Verify that component and supplier paperwork is up to date and accurate.
- Document and communicate any errors identified and/or inconsistencies in these documents to internal or external groups.
- Ensure that codes are appropriate (QW and CH) and other information is accurately assigned to components and suppliers.
- Research regulations and guidance documents to determine that data is correct through supply documents.
- Provide clarification and training to the internal supply team on relevant regulatory procedures and process changes.
- Participate in periodic audits of components in different warehouse areas, as well as follow up on the closure of NCs found in different findings.
- Facilitate communication of different findings detected in sourcing formats with the corresponding groups.
- Communicate product quality issues, data analysis, trends, and/or other information to internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with colleagues and internal customers to improve quality, processes, and documentation.
- Develop plans and processes to identify trends and focus on continuous improvement.
- Lead activities to resolve quality issues for components among staff and internal/external divisions/customers and suppliers.
- Develop trend and root cause analysis, and report issues periodically.
- Own and manage incoming material nonconformances, including identification, documentation, containment, and disposition
- Drive timely supplier responses.
- Collaborate with incoming inspection, production, engineering, and purchasing to minimize quality impact and production disruptions.
- Track, trend, and report supplier nonconformance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and applicable regulatory standards.
Education:
Work Experience :
1 to 3 years of experience in quality control or supply chain is required. Preferably in the medical industry (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, food, and personal care).
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Bilingual (Fluent in English).
