About the Role:
Samsong México, a leading Automotive Tier 1 manufacturer specialized in seat belts and vehicle safety systems, is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in large-scale industrial project leadership, operational expansion, and plant or production line launches within the automotive sector.
This position requires strategic vision, extensive experience in advanced manufacturing environments, and the ability to lead complex projects focused on safety, productivity, and operational excellence.
Required Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Industrial Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Business Administration or related field
- +10 years of experience in project management within automotive manufacturing
Proven experience in:
- Automotive Tier 1 plant launches or operational expansions
- New production line implementation
- Industrial process transfers
- Automotive program launches
- Projects related to automotive safety systems
- Cross-functional team leadership
- Strategic planning, budgeting, and KPI management
- Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, APQP, IATF, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement
Advanced proficiency in:
- Microsoft Project
- ERP / MRP Systems
- Microsoft Office
- Advanced English proficiency (required)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic projects involving plant expansion, implementation, and operational launches
- Coordinate installation of production lines, equipment, and manufacturing processes
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards, safety requirements, and productivity goals
- Manage launch programs with OEM and Tier 1 customers
- Coordinate timelines, budgets, resources, and global teams
- Ensure achievement of operational and financial objectives
- Implement strategies for efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement
