Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Performs design functions on new and existing products as assigned.
- Creates structural and movement engineering analysis
- Creates and maintains CAD models of all engineering designs.
- Performs technical drawings.
- Carries out investigations related to research and development projects.
- Identifies opportunities for product improvements and defines them as projects.
- Develops understanding of manufacturing processes for use in product design assignments.
- Develops new and innovative designs and solutions for use on projects.
- Supports in construction of mock-ups and prototypes
- Works effectively with others, and utilizes all available resources in solving project problems.
- Participates in project/status and departmental meetings.
- Recognizes technical, scheduling, and resource problems, and initiates corrective actions.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related science.
- CAD software knowledge, Inventor, SolidWorks etc.
- Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Passionate for quality and perfection to the detail.
- Creative, proactive, self-guided, productive.
- Communicates well in technical English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrates the ability to solve problems using deductive and intuitive reasoning skills.
- Able and willing to lift and carry weights around 20 kilograms
