We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Legal Intake & Client Relations Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for potential clients.
Position Overview
This role is critical to the firm's growth and client experience. Your primary role will be to answer incoming calls, qualify potential clients, manage leads through our intake process, maintain our CRM and Clio systems, and ensure that every prospective client receives outstanding service.
You will act as an advocate for the firm, helping potential clients understand how our office may be able to assist them while ensuring attorneys receive qualified and organized consultations.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls from potential clients.
- Conduct initial lead intake and gather relevant information.
- Evaluate and qualify leads based on firm criteria.
- Enter and manage lead information within Clio Grow and Clio Manage.
- Maintain and update the intake pipeline and lead funnel.
- Follow up with prospective clients through phone calls, text messages, and email.
- Schedule attorney consultations.
- Keep prospective clients engaged and informed until an attorney becomes available.
- Track lead status and ensure no potential client falls through the cracks.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with individuals facing criminal charges.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to client intake and communication.
Qualifications
Required:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Excellent phone presence and communication skills.
- Strong customer service, sales, or intake experience.
- Comfortable speaking with people experiencing stressful legal situations.
- Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple leads simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Legal intake experience.
- Criminal defense or immigration law experience.
- Experience with Clio Grow, Clio Manage, or similar CRM systems.
- Experience in sales, client retention, customer success, or call center environments.
