Job description:
The Quality Management System Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving the plant's Quality Management System to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, customer-specific requirements, and internal quality standards. This position coordinates internal, external, and customer audits while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
The role works closely with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions, maintain quality documentation, support process improvements, ensure compliance with automotive quality requirements, and promote a culture of operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Quality Engineering or a related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in Automotive Quality Management Systems.
· Proven experience maintaining and improving IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 management systems.
· Experience coordinating internal, external, and customer audits.
· Strong knowledge of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plan).
· Experience leading Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Why, A3).
· Experience managing quality documentation, procedures, work instructions, and document control.
· Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
· Experience supporting new product launches (APQP) and engineering changes.
· Strong understanding of process audits, product audits, and layered process audits.
· Experience monitoring and analyzing Quality KPIs and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
· Knowledge of Risk Management, FMEA, and preventive quality methodologies.
· Ability to work with cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, and production personnel.
· Experience in the automotive manufacturing environment.
· Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
· Advanced English (written and spoken).
Requirements:
· Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.

· Internal Auditor certification.
· GD&T interpretation.
· Customer Specific Requirements (Ford, GM, Toyota, Tesla, etc.).

Pay: $28,000.00 - $33,000.00 per month
