As we continue to grow internationally, we're looking for an HR professional who is passionate about people, culture, and building strong workplace relationships.
As our HR Manager – Labour Relations & Talent Acquisition, you will serve as the primary HR representative for our Mexico operations while working closely with the HR Analyst in Mexico and reporting directly to the HR Manager in Canada.
This is a strategic, hands-on role focused on maintaining confidentiality, strengthening company culture, improving internal communication, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor legislation, and partnering with leaders to deliver an exceptional employee experience.
You will collaborate with the HR Analyst and HR Manager in Canada to continuously improve HR processes and become the trusted point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters. From time to time, you will also support key hiring initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers in Mexico.
- Partner with the HR Manager in Canada to ensure alignment with global HR strategies, policies, and initiatives.
- Work closely with the HR Analyst to execute HR programs and continuously improve HR processes and employee services.
- Build trusted relationships across the organization while handling sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
- Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and HR best practices.
- Promote employee engagement, collaboration, and a positive workplace culture.
- Support internal communication initiatives that strengthen transparency and organizational alignment.
Labour Relations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Mexican Federal Labor Law (LFT) and internal company policies.
- Support employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions, and documentation.
- Be accountable for proper HR documentation and employment records in accordance with legal requirements.
- Recommend improvements to HR policies and procedures to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for positions in Mexico and provide support on strategic hiring projects when required.
- Conduct initial interviews for key positions
- Coordinate reference and background checks.
- Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
HR Operations
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure payroll information is submitted accurately and on time.
- Prepare HR communications and employment documentation as required.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve HR processes.
- Support HR projects that enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
- Analyze HR trends and recommend improvements to leadership.
- Participate in initiatives that reinforce company culture, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications
- Advanced English (written and verbal).
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican Federal Labor Law (LFT).
- Experience managing employee relations and labor matters.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Comfortable collaborating with international teams across multiple locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for an international or multinational organization
- Experience with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems
- Experience supporting fast-growing or technology companies
- Experience leading employee engagement or culture initiatives
- Familiarity with process improvement and HR automation tools
