This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Manufacturing Engineer in Monterrey with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.
Drive manufacturing process optimization to improve safety, quality, efficiency, reliability, yields, and overall production performance.
Lead maintenance operations by ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance compliance, equipment uptime, spare parts availability, and budget control.
Manage and develop the technical manufacturing team, providing coaching, training, and capability building to achieve sustainable KPI improvements.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizens, productivity projects, process standardization, validation, and deployment of best practices.
Ensure operational excellence and safety, maintaining zero-accident performance while delivering targets for OEE, quality, cost, yield, scrap reduction, and NPI milestones.
More about you
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or a similar technical role.
Strong expertise in process improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives.
Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly technologies, equipment, ergonomics, quality, safety, and environmental standards (automation experience is a plus).
Advanced/Fluent English required for effective communication in a global environment.
