Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Customer Service Assistant.
Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This is a dynamic learning position that is responsible for direct customer contact by phone and email that manages all of the Customer Service related activities for specific customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Responsible for order entry and support functions involving pre and post order management (contract review, order processing, expediting, rescheduling and order closure).
B. Begin to interface with customers, sales representatives and other groups on product delivery and order management issues.
C. Provide timely responses to internal and external customers (includes customer inquiries, price and delivery requests, advance warning of shipping delays, shipment confirmation, order reschedules and return authorizations).
D. Coordinate product registrations and stock control maintenance on all VC product styles.
E. Print and distribute daily reports and update charts for key business measures as needed.
F. Provides customer service excellence.
G. Serves as project leader in matters of major customer performance. Examples may include recovery schedules, new part setups and quality issues.
H. Develop, lead, and promote a culture in the organization that supports the expected results in the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental system (MESH).
I. Maintain waste segregation culture.
J. Separate hazardous waste from the normal trash
K. Place waste according to the assigned containers.
L. Maintain your area clean and free of contaminants.
M. Not waste of water or electricity.
N. Report any activity that can put in risk my safety and environment.
O. Identify and give adequate disposition to all chemical products, which can contaminate the environment.
P. Act/Report immediately any chemical discharge case.
Q. Ensure the rights containers for disposition of hazardous waste (identifying containers and containers to prevent discharge)
