Excellent Flow is a dynamic organization specializing in healthcare information technology systems. Our mission is to provide comprehensive and user-friendly electronic health record and billing solutions for medical clinics in the United States. Currently, we are expanding our programming software development division in Mexico.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as an EOB Processing Specialist. This is an entry-level position focused on reviewing medical documents and accurately entering data into our system.
No prior experience is required — we provide full training.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) from insurance companies
- Patient information
- Provider details
- CPT/HCPCS codes
- Payment amounts, adjustments, denials
- Verify accuracy of data against source documents
- Identify discrepancies or missing information
- Flag errors or inconsistencies for review
- Perform basic validation of insurance/payment information
- Maintain productivity and accuracy benchmarks
- Follow HIPAA and data privacy guidelines when handling patient data
- Organize and manage digital documents (uploading, naming, tracking)
- Communicate with internal teams if clarification is needed
- Demonstrates ability to learn computer applications as they relate to job duties and proficiency in the practice management system
Requirements:
- Bilingual( English & Spanish)
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills (typing, navigating systems, data entry)
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Exposure to US healthcare industry
- A minimum of 45 wpm typing
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Word. Excel, Google sheets, Power point, etc...
