The Unbilled Associate is responsible for identifying and recovering outstanding workers' compensation billing documentation by communicating with medical providers and internal teams. This role plays a key part in supporting the company's revenue cycle by ensuring claims are submitted accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and maintaining excellent communication with providers and internal stakeholders.

Contact medical providers to obtain missing or outstanding Workers' Compensation claims.

Follow up with providers via phone, email, and fax to collect required documentation.

Prepare and distribute financial reports to providers as needed.

Track and document all communications and claim activity in internal systems.

Research and resolve billing discrepancies or missing documentation.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely claim resolution.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and industry regulations.

Meet established productivity, quality, and revenue recovery goals.

Support special projects and additional departmental initiatives as assigned.
Required

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical billing, collections, revenue cycle operations, or a related administrative role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
