Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Application Packaging & Deployment Engineer with strong experience in software packaging, patching, and deployment within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with AdminStudio, PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT), and modern patching processes to ensure reliable and secure application delivery across end-user systems.
Key Responsibilities
Create, test, and deploy application packages using AdminStudio and PSADT.
Perform security patching and application updates to maintain system integrity and compliance.
Manage software distribution and deployment through enterprise tools such as SCCM, Intune, or similar.
Collaborate with IT operations and security teams to define deployment standards and automation workflows.
Troubleshoot packaging and deployment issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Maintain documentation of packaging processes, release notes, and configuration standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement of deployment pipelines and patch management processes.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in application packaging, patch management, and deployment within enterprise IT environments.
Strong hands-on experience with AdminStudio and PSADT.
Proven knowledge of application lifecycle management, software distribution tools, and patching best practices.
Familiarity with Windows Installer (MSI) technology, scripting, and automation.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with global teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with SCCM, Intune, or Ivanti for deployment automation.
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for advanced automation tasks.
Understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise software governance.
