Position Summary
The Preschool English Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating, and engaging learning environment for young learners. This role involves teaching English as a primary language of instruction, fostering children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development, and guiding them in their first structured learning experiences. The teacher must combine pedagogical expertise with creativity, emotional intelligence, and a genuine joy for teaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement age-appropriate lessons in English that promote language acquisition, literacy, and cognitive development.
- Serve as a homeroom teacher, ensuring students’ integral formation by addressing academic, emotional, and social needs.
- Apply collaborative learning strategies to foster teamwork, cooperation, and problem-solving skills among students.
- Encourage positive thinking, resilience, and emotional growth in children.
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to both students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and school staff to ensure alignment with institutional goals and values.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education (mandatory).
- Language: Advanced level of English (spoken and written). B2/C1
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a homeroom teacher in preschool or early years education.
- Certifications: TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) or equivalent.
