Your Job
As a Quality Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring products and manufacturing processes consistently meet quality standards and customer requirements. You will partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to drive continuous improvement, resolve quality issues, and support operational excellence across production activities. This position offers the opportunity to influence product quality, improve processes, and contribute to a culture focused on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Our Team
You will be part of the Quality team supporting manufacturing operations in Guadalajara. Our team works closely with Operations, Engineering, and Production to ensure high-quality products, effective problem-solving, and compliance with internal standards and customer expectations. We value collaboration, accountability, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate and support daily quality activities within manufacturing operations.
- Conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformances and quality-related issues.
- Lead root cause investigations and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor quality performance metrics and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in product validation, qualification, and release activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Provide quality guidance and training to production personnel as needed.
- Support internal, customer, and certification audits.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience supporting quality activities within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and applicable quality management system requirements.
- Experience conducting product and/or process audits.
- Experience leading or supporting root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across multiple functions
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience coordinating quality inspectors or audit teams.
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as 5 Why's, Ishikawa, 8D, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience supporting new product launches, qualifications, or production ramp-ups.
- Experience monitoring quality KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams within a manufacturing environment
