Role Description
This full-time Automation Trainee role is a hybrid position based in Saltillo, COA, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Automation Trainee will assist in developing, configuring, and testing automation solutions for industrial and manufacturing environments. Daily tasks include supporting process automation projects, executing and documenting test cases, monitoring system performance, and helping identify and resolve issues. This role involves collaborating with engineers and project teams to ensure automation systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards. The Automation Trainee will also learn and apply best practices in robotics, machine vision, and quality assurance while contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Process Automation and Automation for industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to perform Troubleshooting of automation systems and related hardware/software components.
- Experience or coursework in designing and executing Test Cases for system validation.
- Understanding of Quality Assurance principles related to automated processes.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Basic knowledge of robotics, PLCs, sensors, and machine vision systems is an asset.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams.
