YOUR ROLE:
Be the main point of contact for the Mexican team for all matters related to units planning availability, via regular governances and/or on an ad-hoc basis with the objective to improve visibility and smoothen the order-to-delivery process
Lead the short and mid-term planning, part of the monthly S&OP cycle, consisting into revising sell-in/sell-out forecasts by analyzing historical sales and latest trends while considering future retail activities (e.g. promotions) and taking into account the seasonality of each product line
Track, investigate and explain deviations from the latest forecast scenario in order to proactively raise flags, adjust the plan and keep a high forecast accuracy rate
Act as the guardian of the inventory available for Mexico and make sure to keep the stock level under control with a special focus on fast-moving products
Support the elaboration of the unit ordering strategy for Mexico, consisting, but not limited to, defining rules, managing the allocation of products, confirming orders and making sure internal/external stakeholders are well informed about the availability of the products in due time
In charge of reflecting the latest scenarios into IBP, our planning tool, to drive production adjustments and make sure important changes are well understood by the Global planning Team
Support the Market Planning Manager on the elaboration of the quarterly financial forecasts – in terms of volume but also storyline
Create and update reports, summaries and presentations to explain strategies and ease the decision-making process
With the rest of the team, work closely with the project team in charge of our planning tool “IBP” and make sure our day-to-day reality is well understood for continuous improvements implementation
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Strategic Planning or Demand
Planning
Suitable Bachelor or Master degree
Fluent in English and Spanish
PROFILE
Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
First experience with IBP not mandatory but a strong plus
Well-rounded business acumen combined with high strategic thinking, problem solving
and willingness for efficiency
Ability to challenge the status-quo with data driven insights and a mindset always looking
for process improvements
Organized, accurate and results oriented
Ability to work and deliver in high stress environment
Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI or SQL is a strong plus
LANGUAGE:
Fluent in Spanish written and verbal.
English advanced (Min. 80%) written specially
French or german is an advantage.
