We are seeking an experienced Software Implementation Project Manager to join our client's Hyatt implementation team and oversee the successful rollout of a hotel technology platform across properties in Cancún and throughout the LATAM region.
The IT Project Manager for the LAC region is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of hotel Tech Stack implementations, ensuring the successful rollout of PMS and associated technologies across properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Rollout Governance & Execution Tracking
- Lead and monitor the execution of Tech Stack migration rollouts across LAC properties.
- Track progress across all project phases, including planning, configuration, migration, interfaces, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and delays, ensuring timely escalation and follow-up to resolution.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Alignment
- Coordinate and align Project Leads, Project Specialists, PMS Specialists, and vendors across all implementations.
- Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and deliverables among stakeholders.
- Establish and lead regular governance cadence, including status meetings and working sessions.
PMS Ecosystem & Interface Monitoring
- Monitor the implementation and readiness of PMS interfaces with key on-property and above-property systems.
- Ensure alignment and coordination across systems such as POS, HSIA, IPTV/VOD, Mobile App.
- Track integration with above-property platforms including B4T, Envision, Colleague Advantage.
Deployment, Risk & Escalation Management
- Track progress of PMS configuration, reservation migration, UAT activities, and overall deployment readiness across implementation phases
- Monitor and maintain centralized tracking of issues, risks, and dependencies, ensuring proper documentation, ownership, and follow-through
- Ensure critical issues are escalated promptly.
- Ensure all issues are properly logged, tracked through closure, and that no critical gaps remain at go-live readiness.
- Monitor overall readiness and highlight risks, delays, and execution gaps ahead of go-live
Training & Operational Readiness Follow-up
- Monitor delivery of training and support provided by PMS Specialists.
- Track training completion and readiness status across hotel teams.
- Ensure properties are operationally prepared for system transition and activation.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience managing software implementation projects.
- Previous experience implementing hospitality technology solutions is highly desirable.
- Experience with PMS implementations is considered a strong advantage.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in IT, or a related field.
Required Qualifications
- Valid passport.
- Availability to travel throughout LATAM.
Work Conditions
- Schedule: Mon - Fri, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. 100% Remote.
- Willingness to travel throughout Mexico and Latin America as required.
Sueldo: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 al mes
