Position Summary
The Accountant, Cold Jet Latin America is responsible for supporting accounting and administration. The Accountant will be required to work within the policies and procedures of Cold Jet LLC and in accordance with local regulations.
Position Responsibilities
- Support month end closing for Mexico in Epicor, including appropriate accruals, journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Complete AR Invoicing in accordance with local regulations and customer requirements.
- Issue Complimentary payment CFDI and upload to web portals of customers.
- Prepare and present Monthly DIOT informative tax file.
- Complete accounts payable invoice entries
- Administer daily and weekly check runs according to policies and procedures
- Record daily cash receipts
- Work with customers and sales team to complete and ensure timely cash collections
- Assist and track the business and financial data analysis
- Support regular tax and audit requests as needed
- Report financial statements to US headquarters
- Perform general ledger activities as required by corporate accounting office
- Pro-actively and clearly communicate with customers, internal and external, in addition to responding to questions
- Setup Cold Jet Latin America as a supplier with prospective new customers
- Ensure adherence to Cold Jet global policies and procedures
Position Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar degree
- At least 4 years’ experience in Accounting
Skill Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid knowledge of MS Office and accounting and ERP systems
- Language skills:
- fluent in English
- fluent in Spanish, Portuguese is a plus
