Responsibilities

Install, configure, and upgrade MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and CockroachDB databases

Monitor, tune, and optimize database performance

Own backups, recovery, and disaster recovery plans

Implement and maintain database security and user access
-
Establish replication, clustering, and high-availability solutions
-
Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting and supporting tools
-
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
-
Document configurations and operating procedures
-
Collaborate with DevOps and development teams
Requirements
-
Proven track record with 5+ years of advanced database administration across MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
-
Deep expertise in CockroachDB administration plus proficiency in Shell and Python scripting for automation
-
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI, along with IaC tools including Terraform and Ansible
-
Working knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
-
Solid background with cloud database services such as AWS RDS and GCP
-
Strong understanding of database security, replication, and high availability
-
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
