Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage payroll processing for coded employees across Santa Fe, Distribution Centers, GESMEX, Shared Services, Lerma, COHISA, and Toluca Belt operations.
Coordinate and validate payroll inputs including new hires, terminations, vacations, promotions, bonuses, and employee deductions, ensuring accurate processing in the ADAM payroll system.
Prepare monthly payroll reports for Tax Managers and Local Controllers, including employee income tax details and pension plan contributions.
Create biweekly manual journal entries to record payroll expenses in Oracle.
Generate monthly system access reports and coordinated ADAM user account updates with the vendor team.Managed electronic payroll and termination tax filings in compliance with Mexican tax authorities.
Calculate and reconcile statutory payments, including Social Security, housing fund contributions, and state payroll taxes.
Support internal, external, and Social Security audits by providing payroll documentation and analysis.
Coordinate monthly meal voucher requests for eligible employees.
Served as backup support for Gates Mexico treasury operations.
Provide quarterly pension plan data and reporting to Willis Towers Watson and external consultants.
Perform annual calculations for Profit Sharing and Christmas Bonus.
Calculate bimonthly Social Security variable compensation adjustments and related contributions.
Requirements and Preferred Skills
2 - 4 years of experience
Bachelors Degree in Accountant or Administrative
Strong knowledge about local labor and tax regulations.
Excellent data entry skills with ability to process high volume transactions while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
Composure under pressure and demonstrated reliability.
Effectively handles conflict and demonstrates flexibility in work style to accommodate changing priorities and deadlines.
Strong team player: proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed and share knowledge to allow cross training of all functions, builds collaborative relationships.
