Key Responsibilities
- Define goals, develop plans to meet production schedules, resolve technical issues, and supervise daily operations.
- Translate customer requirements into efficient and cost-effective manufacturing strategies and processes.
- Allocate resources to meet production targets, maximize operational capacity, and ensure team members receive appropriate training.
- Lead and monitor continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring full compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement action plans to achieve departmental goals in labor efficiency, resource utilization, housekeeping, and productivity.
- Strong proficiency in production control, including monitoring production adherence and attainment, managing scrap levels, analyzing production variances, and tracking work order aging to support operational profitability.
- Evaluate employee performance based on company standards for quality, productivity, and career development.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role; molding experience is a strong plus.
- Proven leadership skills with a positive and motivating influence.
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) – preferred for driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- ISO 9001/AS9100 Environment – preferred for understanding and applying quality standards.
- Supervisory or Leadership Training Certification – preferred to support team development and performance management.
- Injection Molding Certification (RJG or equivalent) – highly preferred for technical expertise in molding processes.
Sueldo: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 al mes
