YOUR TASKS

Analyze the test Basis that includes Customer Requirements, System requirements.

System specification analysis:
Environmental parts (sample matrix, HW constraints, HW capability)
Parts concerning electrical requirements -
Create and supplement the System Environmental Test Specification and Test Scripts
Test cases /-sequences concerning -
Develop and execute test cases (manual and automated) for environmental and Functional requirements.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts (e.g., CAPL, Python, C#)
Contribute to CANoe simulation and test environment development
Support test environment setup, configuration, and debugging -
Conduct exploratory testing, regression tests and basic environmental/Functional tests.

Analyze test report results, identify root causes of failed tests, and create error reports.
Identify, document, and report defects found during Environmental/Functional testing.
Extensive Root Cause Analysis for failed test cases. -
Document test results and prepare test reports according to the defined environmental/Functional test process.
Document test results and prepare structured test reports
Maintain traceability and proper documentation of test activities
Review test artifacts from peers
Lead technical spec & execution reviews
Review work/documentation of colleagues during the DV/PV processes. -
Contribution/Creation to the development and maintenance of the test environment.
Support test environment setup, configuration, and debugging -
Automation & Test Environment
Develop and maintain automated test scripts (e.g., CAPL, Python, C#)
Contribute to CANoe simulation and test environment development -
Maintain a continuous improvement mindset and follow best practices.
Propose improvements in test methods, tools, and processes
Collaborate with international teams to resolve issues
Follow best practices and contribute to knowledge sharing -
Collaborate with international project teams and other team members to resolve issues.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.

Production relevant topics:
Sample failure analysis
Verifying the first series units (ISIR)
Support Failure analysis in production (assembly line and field rejects)
Creation of test sequence EoL (End of Line) and HW analysis.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in software or system testing (Including environmental), particularly in the automotive industry.
Familiarity with ISO26262 standards and their implementation.
Familiarity with IEC 60068 standards and their implementation.
ISTQB certification would be an advantage.

Core Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of system-level testing concepts, including functional, diagnostic, and robustness testing
Knowledge system testing techniques, including environmental & Reliability Test, EMC, Durability.
Basic know-how in communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet and diagnostics, including UDS.
Familiarity with Vector tools, especially CANoe (must) and VT System (nice to have).
General knowledge of configuration management tools like DOORS, MKS (PTC), and ALM.
Experience using instrumentation for measurement and control, such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
Reading and understanding of electronic schematics and component datasheets.
Ability to analyze system behavior and debug issues across SW/HW interfaces
Experience with test automation (e.g., CAPL, Python, C#) -
