We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Corporate Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial operations of a US-based HOA Management / Community Management Company. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll and compliance processes, and ensuring timely, well-organized reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
Corporate Accounting & Financial Operations
- Full-cycle accounting responsibilities, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Code and enter vendor invoices, process payments, bill customers and clients, and prepare bank deposits while ensuring proper general ledger coding
- Manage the company's banking relationships, including monthly bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Reconcile intercompany expenses on a monthly basis
- Review, prepare, and publish monthly financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Analyze accounting records and provide cash flow management recommendations
Payroll Administration (in partnership with HR Coordinator)
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing utilization of payroll software
- Process bi-monthly payroll journal entries into QuickBooks based on payroll system reports
- Support payroll reconciliations and related accounting functions
Financial Planning & Compliance
- Assist with the annual budgeting process
- Prepare annual 1099 filings
- Assist the Company's CPA with annual tax preparation and reporting
- Facilitate audits, reviews, compilations, and other financial reporting requirements
Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Develop, document, and maintain accounting internal controls, company policies, and procedures
- Review adherence to established company best practices and financial procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and streamline accounting processes
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a Bookkeeping or Accounting support role
- QuickBooks proficiency is required
- Proven experience handling full-cycle bookkeeping for internal operations or multi-entity environment
- Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger maintenance
- Strong experience performing monthly bank and account reconciliations, monthly financial reports and supporting payroll processing
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and standard accounting practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management skills
- High level of discretion when handling sensitive financial and payroll information
- Ability to work 40 hours a week following US Mountain time zone.
