Plant Manager
Automotive – Metal Mechanic industry.
Location: Monterrey
A premium manufacturer of the automotive industry is searching for a Plant Manager. The incumbent is responsible for the fully operational manufacturing facility, and supporting the core values of the company: Financial P&L Results, Strategic business plan, Set tactical objectives, review progress of the established operational KPI’s as well as to plan future businesses. Motivates, organizes, and communicates with personnel to optimize quality, service and on-site morale through quantifiable and subjective measurements. Administration and Execution of initiatives in order to meet cost-effective business objectives: In Production, Quality, Delivery, Finance, Cleaning, Safety and Environment areas and all related activities focused to the satisfaction of the internal and external customers. Ensures that sites are operating in compliance with local laws and company corporate policy, including financial/tax, employment/labor, safety, EAR and quality systems standards.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related discipline. MBA a plus.
- Six Sigma - Lean Leader Certification preferred.
- Bilingual: English – Spanish, Excellent communications skills.
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience as Managerial positions / 7 Yrs as Plant Manager in manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience of P&L and financial indicators management, Facility capital planning, budgeting, strategic planning, and resources allocations.
- IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, ISO 9001, ISO14001, CTPAT and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
- Expertise in working with world-class principles, lean manufacturing techniques, deploying and sustaining a production system and significant change management efforts.
- Strong leadership management skills, staff supervisory experience, leading teams.
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example, Strong team building, Negotiation, decision-making and people management skills.
