About the Opportunity
A leading company with more than 40 years of experience in the corporate furniture and workspace solutions industry is seeking a highly driven Business Development & Market Expansion Manager to lead market expansion efforts and generate new business opportunities across Monterrey and Mexico City.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who enjoys opening doors, building strategic relationships, and developing new accounts within the architecture, construction, project management, and corporate sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Monterrey and Mexico City.
- Build relationships with architects, construction firms, project management companies, and corporate decision-makers.
- Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline through networking, referrals, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, CRM tools, and industry events.
- Drive awareness and positioning during the initial stages of the purchasing cycle.
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial Director and Key Account teams to convert opportunities into successful projects.
- Develop strategic relationships with corporate clients in areas such as Facilities, Procurement, Real Estate, Expansion, and Workplace Management.
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and opportunity tracking through CRM platforms.
- Represent the company professionally at meetings, presentations, networking events, and client visits.
Desired Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in Business Development, New Business Generation, Sales Management, or Key Account Development.
- Strong B2B commercial background with experience in project-based sales cycles.
- Experience selling through intermediaries such as architects, contractors, designers, project managers, or related channels is highly desirable.
- Advanced English proficiency (required).
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
- Highly proactive, outgoing, self-driven, and comfortable approaching new prospects.
- Experience using CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar prospecting tools.
