As a Project Finance Accountant (PFA) Student, you’ll work alongside finance, operations, and delivery teams while gaining hands-on experience with SAP, including S/4HANA, project budgeting, invoicing, and revenue recognition. You’ll build practical skills, learn from experienced colleagues, and develop a strong foundation for future opportunities such as Project Controller or Finance Business Partner.
What you will do

Support the setup and follow-up of project financial data in SAP.

Help maintain project budgets, billing milestones, and planned costs.

Participate in customer invoicing and basic revenue recognition activities.

Contribute to the accurate closure of project objects in SAP.

Help ensure data quality and compliance with accounting requirements.

Collaborate with finance, operations, and delivery teams to connect project execution with financial performance.

Support audits by preparing and maintaining clear documentation of project financials.

Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives, including SAP enhancements and AI-enabled tools.
What you bring

You are in the final stages of a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.

Good Excel skills and an interest in learning and working with SAP.

A curious and analytical mindset, with strong attention to detail.

An interest in finance, accounting, or project controlling, demonstrated through coursework, projects, or previous experience.

A proactive and responsible approach, with the confidence to suggest improvements and challenge the status quo.
