The Senior Human Resources Generalist serves as a key HR partner and operational leader, responsible for supervising and executing core Human Resources functions within the organization. This role ensures compliance, operational excellence, and effective service delivery across multiple HR disciplines including Payroll, Training and Development, Labor Relations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Services, HR Metrics, Recognition, and Internal Communication.
The position plays a critical role in driving employee engagement, maintaining positive labor relations, and ensuring HR processes align with business objectives.
ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following, as well as any other duties assigned by the Human Resources Manager or the organization:
A. Oversee and supervise the end-to-end payroll process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws in Mexico and Eaton policies.
B. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, labor laws, and audit requirements.
C. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and controls.
D. Lead and oversee training programs, ensuring alignment with operational and organizational needs.
E. Coordinate and ensure the effective execution of the training process, including:
F. Annual Training Plan - for all the employees
G. Manufacturing Operations Certification - for Direct Hourly employees
H. Position-based training – for new hires and promotions
I. Professional and leadership development, including Training Needs Analysis (“DNC”)
J. Supervise the execution of onboarding, technical, and soft skills training initiatives.
K. Ensure proper documentation and control of training records and systems.
L. Leads all activities related to training ensuring compliance with STPS legal requirements, coordination of internal and external trainings, etc.
M. Act as a primary point of contact for labor relations matters, ensuring compliance with labor laws in Mexico and Eaton standards.
N. Support and advise leadership on employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
O. Supervise recruitment and selection processes to ensure timely and effective hiring aligned with business needs.
P. Ensure proper implementation of salary structures, incentives, and merit processes.
Q. Provide guidance on compensation-related decisions to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness.
R. Address employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs.
S. Coordinate activities related to personnel services such: Cafeteria and transportation achieving employee high satisfaction and engagement.
T. Prepare, monitor and analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, training compliance, etc.) to support data-driven decision making.
U. Develop and oversee employee recognition programs to reinforce company values and performance.
V. Coordinates and ensures monthly programs and plant activities, such as rewards and recognitions, anniversaries, monthly meetings, roundtables, etc., are carried out on timely manner.
W. Supports in the organization and coordination of company parties and events.
X. Ensure effective communication of HR policies, programs, and organizational updates.
Y. Support communication strategies that enhance transparency and engagement.
