Senior UX Designer:
We are looking for a UX/UI designer with 5+ years of experience, to help our team develop dynamic and engaging design work for our clients and partners. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to understand user needs, conduct research, and design user interfaces and unique digital experiences for various projects.
Responsibilities:
● User Research: Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and preferences through methods such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
● User Personas: Create user personas and user journeys to guide design decisions and ensure a user-centric approach.
● Information Architecture: Develop information architecture and sitemaps to organize and structure content and features effectively.
● Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and test ideas with users.
● UI Design: Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, including layouts, color schemes, typography, and iconography.
● Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs, making improvements based on user insights.
● Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
● Design Guidelines: Establish and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to maintain consistency across products.
● Accessibility: Ensure that designs are accessible to users with disabilities and comply with relevant accessibility standards and guidelines.
● Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design.
Qualifications:
● 5+ years of experience working as a UX/UI designer on behalf of digital brands, with a portfolio showcasing previous work. Experience working in e-commerce with Shopify website is preferred.
● Design experience in an agency-style setting is required.●
Bachelor degree in Design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), or a related field (or equivalent experience).
● Proficiency in UX design tools including Adobe XD and Figma is required.
● Ideally you will have experience with custom Shopify sites, 3rd party integrations, as well as custom web apps.
● Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
● Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic front-end development is a plus.
● Familiarity with user testing and research methodologies.
● Experience with responsive and mobile design.
● Remote - United States or Canada only (Time Zone: EST)
Compensation:
$15 USD Hourly.
