The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer is accountable for designing, developing, testing, documenting and implementing automation process that will interacts with multiple third-party new or existing applications.
What our RPA Developer do:
- Designs and builds end to end Robotic Process Automation (RPA) applications for TTI processes including sales, finance, and supply chain processes.
- Adapting to new technologies and gain functional understanding to interact with multiple third-party applications.
- Ability to manage servers including roles, services, log files.
- Works with the automation Program Leader and agile team for discovery, development and deployment of prioritized automation solutions.
- Works closely with business subject matter experts to understand requirements for automation, then designs, builds and deploys the application using automations tools including Automation Anywhere.
- Eliminates errors by owning the testing and validation of RPA applications.
- Maintains and enhances existing RPA application programs by continually improving the understanding of users’ needs. Contributes ideas for improving existing RPA applications and identifying new opportunities for automation.
- Formulates project plan by working with project management and outlining steps required to develop project and submits project plan to project management for approval.
- Understands current operating procedures by consulting with users and reviewing project objectives.
- Ensures a timely progression of project completion by coordinating testing activities including test data and results, with Quality Assurance.
- Develops programs that run efficiently and adhere to TTI standards by using similar logic from existing applications, discussing “best practices” with team members, referencing textbooks and training manuals, documenting the code and by using accepted design patterns.
- Ensures long term maintainability of the system by documenting projects according to TTI guidelines.
- Provides resolutions to problems by taking the initiative to use all available resources for research.
- Provides programmer support on a 24-hour basis by participating in the Programmer of the Week (POW) rotation.
