Koh Young America (KYA)
Located in Duluth, GA, Koh Young America has been serving business partners in North America with sales and technical support since 2010. In addition to KYA’s sales and support for North America, Koh Young Research America was established in 2016 in San Diego, CA as a Research & Development hub for artificial intelligence and deep learning technologies.
The Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service by providing professional technical services
- Becomes an expert on the Koh Young inspection equipment
- Visits customers for installation, training, evaluation, technical/maintenance service and at customers request
- Installs Koh Young equipment at customer sites across USA and Canada as well as internationally as needed
- Trains customers on Koh Young programming, operation and maintenance at both Koh Young offices and at installation sites
- Provides flawless product demonstration either at Koh Young office, or at customer's site for customers to purchase Koh Young machines
- Executes evaluation and customer board test either at Koh Young office, or at customer's site for customers to purchase Koh Young machines
- Provides technical support and maintenance services to both indirect and direct sales channels
- Attends trade shows to exhibit and demonstrate machines as needed
- Reports installation, training, evaluation, demo, customer board test, maintenance or any other service activities in the way supervisor requested
- Serves as a helpdesk agent to answer questions/requests from customers
- Collaborates with sales and other staff on pre-sales activities, teleconferences, quotations, evaluations, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- AA Degree (2 years of college studies) or relevant years of experience
- 3+ years, SMT line engineer/technician, process engineer/technician
- 2+ years 2D/3D AOI and 3D SPI programming, operation, maintenance preferred
- 50+% travel, domestic/international (Passport required)
- Open mind and proactive attitude
- Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organizational, teamwork, administrative and project management skills
- Problem solving skills especially when faced with unexpected situations in the field
- Strong mechanical aptitude, and detail oriented
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- English/Spanish bilingual is required
