General Description
Coordinate training activities on the use of company resources to ensure employees perform their duties efficiently, and develop employees’ competencies, skills, and capabilities through a training program based on an effective training needs assessment.
Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the maquiladora industry.
Knowledge, Skills, and Certifications General knowledge of employee retention strategies and turnover management. Knowledge of STPS requirements related to general working conditions, IMSS, NOM-035, payroll, and advanced MS Office skills. Training or instructor certification is desirable.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities Provide training and instruction on processes, strategies, and operational controls to all department personnel. Ensure control and maintenance of licenses for mobile equipment drivers. Develop training plans, strategies, budgets, and ensure alignment with operational and legal requirements. Implement employee recognition processes. Follow up on labor cases within the plant and enforce internal work regulations (RIT). Prepare reports and manage metrics such as turnover and absenteeism. Support activities related to EH&S and training. Participate in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) per ISO 9001:2015 standards. Comply with all safety rules associated with the position. Complete all assigned training related to Quality and Training on time. Identify and report any quality or compliance issues and support corrective actions.
