We are looking for a meticulous and team-oriented Functional Tester to join our engineering group. In this position, you will act as the protector of software quality, making certain that every feature released is dependable, efficient, and enjoyable to use. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts across the full development lifecycle, starting from initial requirement gathering through post-deployment checks. Responsibilities

Examine business requirements and technical designs to build thorough, well-organized test plans and detailed test cases

Carry out extensive manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing, across web and mobile applications

Document, prioritize, and track software defects with clarity

Team up with software developers to reproduce bugs, investigate root causes, and confirm fixes

Take part in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives to champion quality-focused design and ensure acceptance criteria can be tested

Support business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Perform smoke testing on production environments throughout release cycles
Requirements
-
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience

Demonstrated experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester within an Agile development team

Strong grasp of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including black-box, white-box, regression, and boundary testing

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for thinking like an end-user to detect hidden bugs

Clear and concise communication skills, particularly when writing bug reports and step-by-step reproduction steps

Experience using bug tracking and test management platforms, such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or Confluence

Strong written and spoken English proficiency at a B2 level or higher
