Developmental Specialty Partners (DSP) is a leading pediatric therapy practice serving families across California’s Central Coast. We provide ABA, speech therapy, and psychiatry services to children and families with a strong emphasis on compassion, excellence, and community impact.
We are looking for a Bilingual Intake & Client Services Coordinator to be the first point of contact for families calling our practice. This role is essential in supporting both client intake and ongoing coordination with our billing team, ensuring families experience excellent care from their very first interaction.
Location: REMOTE from 8AM to 5PM Pacific Standard Time
Key Responsibilities
Frontline Communication: Answer and route incoming phone calls with professionalism and empathy.
- Client Intake Support: Assist families with onboarding paperwork, insurance verification, and scheduling of initial assessments.
- Billing & Authorization Support: Coordinate with intake and billing teams to gather insurance details, track authorizations, and ensure accurate client data entry.
- Customer Service: Provide bilingual support (English/Spanish) to families, ensuring clarity and comfort throughout the intake process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with intake, billing, and scheduling teams to streamline processes and avoid delays in care.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Strong customer service skills with a professional phone manner.
- Experience in healthcare billing, medical office administration, or insurance authorizations.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Available full-time during Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a therapy practice, medical office, or similar healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with ABA therapy, speech therapy, or behavioral health services.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar).
