We are seeking a PMS Deployment Project Specialist to join the implementation team supporting our client, Hyatt Inclusive Collection (HIC), in the deployment of Property Management Systems (PMS) and Central Reservation Systems (CRS) across hotel properties throughout the LATAM Region
This role plays a critical part in ensuring successful system implementations by coordinating project timelines, validating hotel configuration data, supporting data migration activities, delivering training, and collaborating with hotel teams, corporate stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Collaborate with corporate and regional stakeholders to align project schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
- Develop, manage, and communicate detailed implementation plans, including training and deployment schedules.
- Coordinate closely with hotel leadership to ensure implementation readiness and on-time project execution.
- Participate in recurring project meetings to monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve issues.
- Serve as the primary liaison between hotel teams, Hyatt corporate teams, and third-party vendors throughout the implementation lifecycle.
System Deployment & Data Management
- Collect, review, and validate hotel configuration data in accordance with Hyatt standards and system requirements.
- Support the configuration and deployment of Opera Cloud and Central Reservation System (CRS) environments.
- Assist with data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Monitor deployment readiness and support successful Go-Live activities.
- Act as the escalation point for system-related questions during and after implementations.
Training & Change Management
- Design, maintain, and continuously improve training materials, including presentations, facilitator guides, job aids, and video content.
- Deliver virtual and on-site training sessions for hotel teams.
- Support change management initiatives by guiding stakeholders through system transitions and best practices.
- Ensure hotel teams are operationally prepared for system adoption.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, training programs, and deployment efficiency.
- Promote knowledge sharing and implementation best practices across the project team.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for future deployments.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel operations, preferably with exposure to multiple operational departments.
- Hands-on experience with Opera Cloud, Central Reservation Systems (CRS), and Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Experience supporting hospitality technology implementations or system deployment projects.
- Experience delivering training sessions and supporting change management initiatives is highly desirable.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical Skills
- Opera Cloud PMS.
- Central Reservation Systems (CRS).
- Hotel Sales & Revenue platforms.
- Hotel configuration and deployment processes.
- PMS implementation methodologies.
- Data migration and validation.
Work Conditions
- Schedule: Monday through Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Work Model: 100% Remote (Home Office).
- Availability to travel internationally as required.
- All business travel expenses (airfare, hotel accommodations, local transportation, and meals) will be fully covered by the company.
- Flexibility to collaborate with teams across multiple international time zones.
