As one of the first people prospective clients interact with, our intake team plays a critical role in creating a positive experience and helping qualified individuals move forward.
About the Role
We're seeking a motivated professional who enjoys speaking with people, building rapport, and helping potential clients make informed decisions. This position combines client intake with consultative sales, requiring someone who is comfortable managing a high volume of calls and guiding qualified prospects through the enrollment process.
Success in this role comes from strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to confidently move opportunities from initial inquiry to signed client.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound phone conversations each day
- Speak with prospective clients to gather information and assess potential eligibility
- Explain the claims process, answer questions, and address concerns
- Build trust and maintain engagement throughout the intake process
- Convert qualified inquiries into retained clients
- Accurately document interactions and maintain records within CRM systems
- Follow up with prospective clients and maintain consistent communication
- Meet or exceed individual conversion and performance goals
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, inside sales, customer service, call center operations, or client intake
- Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to handle objections and confidently ask for commitment
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Legal industry experience is helpful but not required
Compensation
