Job Objective:
To design, plan, and deliver English classes that promote the development of language competencies in secondary and high school students, in accordance with the academic standards of the bilingual school, fostering meaningful, communicative, and comprehensive language learning.
Main Responsibilities:
- Teach English classes to secondary and high school students according to the school's curriculum and academic programs.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with language proficiency levels (CEFR – Common European Framework of Reference).
- Continuously assess students’ academic performance through exams, projects, and dynamic activities.
- Integrate technological tools and innovative teaching strategies to develop the four key language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and participatory classroom environment.
- Participate in academic meetings, training sessions, school events, and institutional activities.
- Prepare and submit academic reports and student evaluations in a timely manner.
- Maintain constant and professional communication with parents, school administrators, and fellow teachers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching, English, Education, or a related field (Required).
- English language proficiency certification (minimum level C1 – TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge, or equivalent).
- Previous experience teaching English at the secondary and/or high school level (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Knowledge of active teaching methodologies (CLIL, TBL, flipped classroom, etc.).
- Proficiency in digital educational platforms and technological tools.
- Strong classroom management, organizational skills, empathy, and effective communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in bilingual or international schools.
- Additional certifications in English language teaching (TKT, CELTA, TESOL, etc.).
- Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities.
