Joining the AVL team in México, you will be responsible to carry out vehicle powertrain calibration activities in engine test bed and vehicle test benches.
Location: Puebla, México
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
To solve any ECU (Engine Control Unit) related issues during engine test bed testing of internal combustion engines and hybrid powertrains.
To adapt calibration data to fulfil emissions limits, drivability concerns, fuel consumption targets, performance targets, etc...
To steer development and implementation of improvement measures to avoid ECU (Engine Control Unit) related issues and more generally to improve KPIs for engine or hybrid system operation.
YOUR PROFILE:
Degree in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or comparable studies
Genuine interest and knowledge in internal combustion engines and hybrid powertrains
Knowledge in automotive electronics is desirable
Knowledge of automotive communication systems (CAN, etc…) is desirable
Ability to investigate root cause of issues, analyze data and formally present and report testing results.
High level of coordination, communication and team skills
Good knowledge of English
German desirable, but not compulsory
