Business Analyst – Electronic Payments & Card Processing

About the Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong expertise in electronic payments, card processing, and transactional systems to join our enterprise solutions team. This role requires advanced analytical skills, deep knowledge of ISO 8583 standards, and the ability to bridge business requirements with technical solutions.
You will collaborate with management, departments, and customers to identify, document, and optimize end-user requirements, ensuring that solutions meet both customer expectations and industry compliance standards. This is a high-impact role where you will perform gap analysis, system evaluations, and integration strategies to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient payment solutions.
Fluent English is mandatory as you will interact with global teams, vendors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document end-user requirements and specifications.
- Evaluate, analyze, and communicate system requirements on a continuous basis.
- Perform discovery sessions to understand customer processes, solutions, and platforms.
- Conduct Gap Analysis between customer requirements and FIS standard solutions.
- Develop clear and structured business requirement documentation for developers and executives.
- Partner with developers to define optimized system integrations.
- Ensure requirements are delivered according to customer quality criteria.
- Provide customer-facing support during requirement gathering and solution validation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven ability to identify and build end-user requirements.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (reading, writing, listening).
- Deep knowledge of electronic payments applications (cards) and transactional systems.
- Strong expertise in card processing back-office services.
- Advanced knowledge of ISO 8583 standards.
- Understanding of Payments Network (Card Schemes) concepts, authorization, certification processes, and workflows.
- Experience defining business rules for electronic payments applications.
- High proficiency in business requirement writing and process documentation.
- Strong analytical abilities and data visualization experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Customer service orientation and project management skills.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $48,000.00 per month
