Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with strong management and leadership skills to oversee the operations of our factory in Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production facility, leading teams, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the factory.
Lead and supervise production, maintenance, and warehouse teams.
Ensure production targets are achieved efficiently.
Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with company standards.
Manage budgets, inventory, and operational costs.
Develop and improve manufacturing processes.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Coordinate with headquarters and submit regular performance reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing or factory operations.
Previous experience in a management or supervisory role.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems is an advantage.
Willingness to relocate and work in different countries at Africa (if needed).
Fluency in English and French.
