About the Role
We are looking for an Operations Associate who can master the full end-to-end scope of the Operations team’s current activities, while also being capable of auditing, reviewing, and performing quality control — freeing up leadership time currently dedicated to these reviews.
This is a role for someone who is highly independent, meticulous, and takes full ownership of the operational details of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's operating model and ensure that critical processes are executed accurately, consistently and on time.
- Work across the full operational lifecycle of our lending business, including client onboarding, KYC, documentation, disbursements, loan system management, reporting and portfolio monitoring.
- Be the Quality & Control Layer, by reviewing critical operational outputs, reconcile information across systems, identify discrepancies and ensure issues are resolved before they become bigger problems.
- Own Disbursement Execution, working closely with clients, Investments, Finance and Legal to ensure every disbursement is properly documented, validated, recorded and executed on time.
- Monitor Data & Financial Information, maintain the integrity of our operational data and support the review of financial statements, key metrics, covenants and portfolio indicators.
- Build & Improve the Machine, helping make Operations faster, smarter and more scalable through process redesign, automation, Power BI, AI, Attio and other technology initiatives.
- Raise the Operational Bar, working with Analysts to establish best practices, improve processes, maintain SOPs and continuously raise the quality of the Operations function.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in Operations, Banking, Fintech, Lending, Financial Services, Audit, Consulting or a similar analytical environment.
- Experience working with financial or operational data.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Data/Analytics or a related field.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Advanced Excel is a must.
- Experience with reconciliations, controls, QA or process improvement is a plus.
- Experience with Power BI, CRM platforms, loan management systems, or automation tools is a plus.
- Experience with AI or workflow automation is a plus.
Key Soft Skills
- Extreme attention to detail. You notice when something doesn't tie, doesn't make sense or simply “looks off.”
- Ownership. You do more than identify problems — you follow through until they are resolved.
- Curiosity. You don't just follow processes — you want to understand why they exist and how they can be improved.
- Independence. You're comfortable receiving a problem instead of a step-by-step instruction manual.
- Constructive challenge. You're comfortable questioning information, reviewing others' work and raising issues when something isn't right — always with professionalism.
- Builder mindset. We're growing, so not everything is perfect or fully documented. You should enjoy helping build the machine, not just operate it.
What we offer

- Mission-oriented and intellectually stimulating projects and constant challenges for growth.
- Attractive career path with potential for long-term advancement as we growth the operations and company.
