Fusion Factor is preparing for a strategic expansion into Mexico. The first focus markets are Ensenada and Valle de Guadalupe, followed by Tijuana, with future growth planned throughout Mexico as the company builds its local presence, business relationships, and bilingual service capabilities.
The Opportunity
We are hiring a Business Development & Executive Relations Manager - Baja California to become the local front-line business development and executive coordination leader for our Mexico expansion. This person will help open doors, build trust with local businesses, coordinate with internal teams, support the CEO, and create a professional bridge between Mexico, the United States, and India.
The role is primarily work from home and based in Ensenada. However, when business opportunities require it, the person may visit companies in Ensenada, Valle de Guadalupe, Rosarito, or Tijuana. Approved transportation and business travel expenses will be paid or reimbursed by the company.

Primary Mission
The mission of this role is to help Fusion Factor establish, organize, and grow business relationships in Baja California while supporting executive leadership and coordinating cross-border operations.
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in Ensenada, Valle de Guadalupe, and Tijuana.
· Represent the company professionally with local businesses, executives, owners, managers, and decision-makers.
· Support the CEO with scheduling, follow-ups, communications, research, and operational coordination.
· Coordinate with the U.S. office and India office to keep tasks, leads, projects, and communication moving forward.
· Help turn local market activity into qualified meetings, proposals, relationships, and long-term clients.
Core Responsibilities1. Business Development and Market Expansion
· Research and identify target businesses in Ensenada, Valle de Guadalupe, Rosarito, Tijuana, and future Mexico markets.
· Build prospect lists for hotels, wineries, restaurants, dental offices, medical offices, law firms, professional service firms, manufacturers, real estate companies, accounting firms, construction companies, and other qualified businesses.
· Make professional outreach by phone, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and in-person visits when appropriate.
· Schedule introductory meetings, discovery calls, and follow-up appointments for Fusion Factor services.
· Help create local relationships with business owners, general managers, operations managers, and office managers.
· Track every lead, conversation, meeting, and next step in the CRM or assigned tracking system.
· Follow up consistently and professionally until each opportunity is won, paused, declined, or disqualified.
2. Executive Relations and CEO Support
· Report directly to the CEO based in San Diego, California.
· Manage follow-ups, reminders, task lists, meeting notes, and executive priorities.
· Prepare summaries of market activity, business opportunities, client conversations, and pending decisions.
· Help the CEO stay organized with Mexico expansion activities, appointments, contacts, and priorities.
· Communicate with professionalism, discretion, and urgency when working with executive-level matters.
3. Client and Prospect Communication
· Serve as a polished bilingual point of contact for prospects, clients, vendors, and partners.
· Communicate clearly in English and Spanish by phone, email, WhatsApp, video calls, and in-person meetings.
· Help explain company services at a high level and coordinate deeper technical or marketing discussions with the correct internal team member.
· Follow up after meetings with clear notes, next steps, and scheduled actions.
· Represent the company with maturity, confidence, respect, and business professionalism.
4. Cross-Border Team Coordination
· Coordinate with the U.S. team and U.S. office on sales activity, client updates, scheduling, and project needs.
· Coordinate with the India office on administrative follow-up, documentation, lead research, reporting, and operational support.
· Keep communication organized across time zones and teams.
· Help prevent dropped tasks, missed follow-ups, unclear ownership, and communication gaps.
5. Administrative and Operational Excellence
· Maintain organized digital records, prospect lists, meeting notes, CRM updates, documents, and reports.
· Prepare weekly updates on leads, meetings, outreach, proposals, follow-ups, and local market opportunities.
· Assist with basic proposals, presentations, emails, call scripts, meeting agendas, and follow-up messages.
· Handle confidential business information with discretion and professionalism.
· Bring structure, accountability, and follow-through to the Mexico expansion effort.

Compensation and Benefits
· Base compensation: 240,000-280,000 MXN per year, equal to approximately 20,000-23,000 MXN per month.
